A Performance of “Caligula” in Prague!

This fall, the cultural life of the Czech capital will be enriched by a landmark theatrical event – a performance of “Caligula,” based on the play by French writer and Nobel laureate Albert Camus. The event will take place on November 16, 2026, at Divadlo Broadway in Prague, where actors from the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater will take the stage. The plot of the play, directed by Ivan Uryvskyi, goes far beyond a historical chronicle of the Roman emperor. It is a story of pain, despair, destruction, cruelty, and attempts to overcome madness.
